Lucas Device Campaign
The Lodi Fire Foundation has funded an additional Lucas Device for the Lodi Fire Department. Now all frontline apparatus have one on board. The Lucas device is used on patients that are in cardiac arrest and require CPR. The Lucas device performs chest compressions which frees up emergency personnel on scene and allows them to perform other life-saving procedures on the patient in a more coordinated and efficient manner. The rapid performance of these additional procedures can often be the difference that dictates whether or not a person’s regular cardiac function can be restored. This has been one of the greatest advancements in medical technology that the Lodi Fire Department has implemented in the last 30 years and it has greatly increased patient survivability outcomes from cardiac arrest.

iSimulate Monitor for Advanced Life Support
When the Fire Department is dispatched to a life-threatening emergency, response must be second nature. This constant state of readiness requires consistent training in Advanced Life Support measures. The iSimulate monitor is a valuable part of the training that is utilized by staff training to become paramedics. This equipment aids in the Fire Department’s future goal of providing Advanced Life Support Services.

Ballistic Vest Campaign
The Lodi Fire Lodi foundation completed a ballistic best campaign at their first annual golf tournament. Thanks to the outpouring of support from community, $30,000 was raised to outfit to Lodi Fire Department with ballistic vests. The vests were received and put into service before the end of 2022. A piece of artwork has been displayed at Fire Station 1 recognizing the donors that made the campaign successful.

Firefighter Memorial Campaign
The Firefighter Memorial project is complete thanks to the generosity of the community! Thank you to LR Varwig & Sons, California Rock & Ready Mix, RJQ Landscape & Design, Bockmon & Woody Electric Co Inc, Kiwanis Club of Greater Lodi, Alricks Steel Inc, Custom Concrete Systems, Gates Concrete Construction, Bob & Anna Morgan, and the Lodi Arts Commission for making this possible. The statue was donated to the City of Lodi by the Lodi Fire Foundation and is not only a beautiful addition to Station 1, but also a way for us to honor those that have lost their lives in this line of work.

Extractor Campaign
An extractor is a machine that is used to wash firefighters turnouts (the personal protection gear worn by firefighters) and ensures that all of the carcinogens and particulates have been removed. The Lodi Fire Department previously contracted out for these specialized cleaning services which is not only costly, but also has a lengthy turn around time. This extractor is housed at Fire Station 2.

Fire Department Rescue Boat
The Lodi Fire Department has a motor boat that is kept at Lodi Lake for water rescue. This boat was in need of a larger motor to make it more efficient. Thanks to a generous donation from a Lodi resident, the fire department was able to purchase a larger motor. This boat is heavily used during the summer season to keep people visiting Lodi Lake safe.

Rescue Belts Campaign
Our rescue belt for firefighters is a critical piece of personal protective equipment (PPE) designed to provide an emergency escape method during dangerous situations, such as when trapped in a burning building or a high-rise. Typically made from durable, heat-resistant materials like Kevlar or Nomex, these belts can support the firefighter's body weight while facilitating quick and controlled descents via rope or other lowering systems.

2025 Wall Calendar
A 2025 calendar was designed for a fire foundation fundraiser features stunning imagery of heroic firefighters in action, along with heartfelt stories of bravery and resilience. Each month showcased a different scene, capturing the essence of the firefighting community. Proceeds from the calendar sales supported the foundation's mission to provide essential resources, training, and support to firefighters and their families. This calendar not only served as a practical tool but also as a tribute to the courage and dedication of those who protect our communities.

2024 Christmas Festival
The event was a wonderful success as the community came together to support the Lodi Fire Department and create special Christmas memories with Santa. Attendees enjoyed the firetruck, delicious food, and festive activities, making it a memorable occasion for all. The spirit of camaraderie and joy filled the air, showcasing the community's dedication to celebrating the holiday season together.
